WOMEN'S IDENTITIES

This is a timeline of women and non-binary people throughout history starting in
the 20th century who have challenged patriarchal norms that society has set for them.
Obviously, this is not an exhaustive list of all of the women and non-binary people in
history who have challenged gender norms, but we wanted to highlight a few specific
women who have been trailblazers in their era. The people in this timeline have
specifically challenged these norms within American society.
